Hello, I hope you don’t mind me contacting you but I thought you might be interested to know that we bought Flash of Fire from Irish horse Imports near Pangbourne in Dec. 09. since then we have hunted , riding clubbed him and he has so improved lately . He has just come back from Riding Club championships where he excelled himself (it was way above anything we had previously done with him) He did a good dressage, one down showjuping, clear steeplechase and clear XC. He ended up 15th out of 45. This was only the second horse trials we had done and was called upon at last minute as a reserve! He has also done some very pleasing dressage being placed each time out. I believe one of your staff took him hunter trialling ( I guess to try and sweeten him up!) he’s certainly good XC now.If you remember him it would probably be as a very grumpy thing in the stable. he’s still a bit but has much improved especially when he’s working off grass!?My daughter rides him and we are now going to take him to some BE events. If your lad/lass remembers him I can send a photo of him if they would like it. many thanks for taking time to read this, all the best, jenny
