David moved to Bjorn Nielsen’s historic Kingsdown Stables in Upper Lambourn in December 2011, having spent four successful years in Newmarket.
A former assistant to the legendary Sir Henry Cecil, David has enjoyed steady progress from season to season and in 2011 celebrated his first victories at Group level with Meeznah as his trailblazer. She landed the Park Hill Stakes (Gr.2) at Doncaster and the Lillie Langtry Stakes (Gr.3) at Glorious Goodwood. There have been numerous other winners for Lanigan at all levels.
With a string of around 50 horses to work with in 2012, David has gotten off to a strong start with three of his first four runners winning from his new Lambourn base.
