Has saddled 3,079 winners, including 182 pattern race winners, since commencing training in 1969.
Principal races won include Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe, 2000 Guineas (twice), 1000 Guineas (twice), St Leger, Irish Derby, Irish 1000 Guineas (twice), Irish Oaks (twice), Prix Royal-Oak and Champion Stakes (twice).
Last year he won 88 races and just under 2 million in prize money winning two Group 1 races, four Group 3 Races and six Listed races.
Since 1995 he has been training from his purpose-built yard, Faringdon Place.
